Hey All, I need to pull the backseat in my 68 Valiant this weekend. I've never had it out before. Are there any tricks or things I should watch out for while doing this. I'm sure it is pretty straight forward, but I always like to benefit from others learning experiences when I can! Thanks for any tips. Chris E.

Push the lower cushion back and then pull up. The back cushion will either be held on with clips on the bottom or with screws. Once the back is off at the bottom lift up and remove. Oh, and pull the arm rests first.

To add to what Jim said. I have found the best way to get the lower part of the seat off is to kneel on the floor board in front of the seat facing the back of the car. Then use your legs to push the seat back while pushing it down slightly. You should feel it pop loose then pull the seat up and it will come out.
