67 - 69 Cuda door question
« on: April 30, 2007, 11:39:32 PM »

I notice the door locks on a 67 Barracuda are towards the very back of the door where as the 68-69 doors have the locks more toward the center.  Are the inner door parts the same including the lock rods?

Thanks!

The upper loke rods are longer on the 68-69 doors. Everything else is the same if I remember rite.   Dave

69 is the only year to have the locks moved forward, and it was on Darts, too. There are other differences between 67 and 68 doors, but not the position of the locks.

Thanks for the help!

Are the door mechanisms swappable between the years?  The passenger side door on my 67 is from a year where the lock is moved toward the center.  I have a very nice rust free door from a 67 bust is doesnt have the mechanism.
