there are absolutely none, or none that are accurate-
when you go to paint your car, look at the paint chips in person, on a computer screen they look completely different

Adobe Photoshop professional can do it, but it has a steep learning curve, you almost need to use it everyday to know how to do stuff with it. Its very advanced and very expensive, I used to use it when I did some graphic design about 7 years ago, I had 3 books on my desk that I always had to reference to. It got to the point that I would dread using that program. The best option is to take a class that teaches it to you. The version I had was the full version that cost about $700, but the newer versions might be a little easier and cheaper.

I believe the type of paint system you decide on is just as important as the color choice. There are so many to choose from that it can make your head hurt ! I work part time for a local resto body shop here in Pittsburgh and the guy that does all the painting is one of the best around. He uses the Sikkens paint system and swears on their technology. I've seen some of his work, and I can tell you first hand, it's fantastic stuff. He does mostly 2 and 3 stage painting and the stuff covers great and has a lot of durability. Most paint shops can match just about any color for you, in fact, I asked specifically if he could match B5 Blue for me and he said it was no problem.

When you look at the paint chips be sure to look at them outside, in the sunlight, artificial light won't give the same color and highlights as the sun.

I wish my dart was a different color, I always liked green Darts. Silver with a black bumble bee stripe looks great in my opinion. I've never seen a show car painted the powder blue that my car is. It's b-5 blue in the interior which i really like.

My '70 Swinger is going to be either a pale yellow or a pale green. Since I'll be doing the bodywork, it's not gonna be black. And I hope I don't make anybody mad if I say it will never be orange, purple, or lime green!
