I am very sorry to hear about your break up Jen, but I have found out in my life, that when one door shuts, another door opens and leads me to something better in life. Keep the faith and it will all work out the way it's suppose to.

Oh Jen...So sorry...But maybe your both changing, maybe your realizing that it's time for a change.  These are the best years of your life, you need to experience all you can, do all you can, have fun, and live a life that makes you happy.  When you get serious at such a young age, a lot of those things don't happen, people are jealous, there possessive, they want you to do what they want.  Your at the age that your starting to realize that your not a kid, your a woman, you've been with this guy a long time, maybe it's time to fly free for a while and sample "the fruit" a bit...I was married at 20...big mistake.  I never sampled "the fruit" when I was your age....Now that I'm single again (today is my 1 year anniversary of being FREE... Cheers ) I'm realizing there's a banana in California that's  awesome and is what I've been looking for my whole life... lol...Seriously Jen, your a beautiful girl, enjoy yourself, have fun, and make sure the next one is a Mopar Guy, or you'll never be happy.... motorinstall

Sorry to hear that your sad... Hug  Go buy your favorite ice cream, which I believe is cookie dough??? Dunno  And get out there quick and have lots of meaningless relationships until he's outta your head,(that's the advice of radio station 96.5 who did a survey on this stuff!), unless he screwed up enough to already be outta your head, then you have nothing to worry about.  Good luck.  I know it hurts!  Ohhhhh, I forgot, buy lots of chocolate too!  You can never have enough! Sorry to hear that Jen. Last year I broke up with my girlfriend of 8 years. We're still friends though.

Go out on dates but be careful. There are a lot of looney's out there.

I've been on many dates since but I've finally started dating someone steady. Although we just had our first arguement last night after 2+ months together. I don't know what to expect.  Dunno

i did the same thing. i just got tired of the same old thing, i felt i was too young and rather than hurt her, in an unforgivable way i thought it would be best to just end it. about 8 months later i came to my senses and realized she was the one that got away. the only thing i could find was trouble in that time, although i had a lot of fun it turned out what i really wanted was the same old thing. we got back together and moved in together within a few months, and are now married. if is meant to be, maybe you will have another chance. oh and the best thing i find to blow off steam, and clear my head, is to spend and hour or 2 in the gym a day. if i actually have th etime that is. never mind all that chocolate and ice cream stuff. oh and its a good place to meet people too.

Jen my dear I am sorry to hear it.  You will know it is right when you are best friends as well as the other.  When you can trust your partner with every thing and talk.  Every relationship needs to be build on trust and friend ship.  If you cann't or feel you cann't tell your partener somthing it will not last no mater how good the sex.

There is more single men out there looking for a girl into cars keep your chin up all in good time.

Actually, he was into bugs if I remember right...those aren't REAL German cars anyway.  Grin

Seriously though, I've been through it a few times, and the longer two people are together, the harder it is when you make the decision to go your separate ways. You can't dwell on it, or that's all you'll be able to think about; that's why hobbies like ours are the ultimate therapy: just get out to the garage and start turning wrenches, you'll feel better in no time.  Smiley

I dont have a jet but I do have access to 2 airplanes anytime haha.

Seriously, Jen I havent ever seen you but I know you will find a good guy sometime with your looks aand personality. Aint going to say when but you will in time. Me and my ex broke up just about 1 year and 3 months ago, hard to do but we both knew it had to be done. She was into Mopar so much she had the dodge ram logo tattoed on her lol. Best thing I did to forget what happened and just try to move on was buy 7 more Mopars, take a very long walk in the woods each day or nite, and a very long weekend drive. I dont recommend the "buying 7 more Mopars" part Frustrated.

How old are you? Seriously....if you are older than 21, GET OUT AND HAVE FUN!!! if you are younger than 21 that sucks. I had more fun between the ages of 21 and 26. I was in a "serious" relationship with a girl from my Jr year in highschool till I was 21....it was like 5 years. We broke up cause she wanted to date someone with more money...no shit. So I decided to go have fun. I met girls from Vegas, P.A...ALL OVER. Some of them lasted a night, some lasted a week or two. Dont even worry about being in a relationship. Pedelkiss's said go out and have many meaningless relationships.....AWESOME! I love the memories I have of my "younger days" Your a smoking hot woman with a great attitude and a cool ride, you will be A OK!! JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE WEIRDOS

Don't worry, now is just a good opportunity to take the time to focus on yourself. Being in a relationship is very time consuming with innumerous compromises being made to accomodate the other person. Go to the Gym, get in better shape, finish your car, and evaluate your commitments to work and/or school.

I ended a 3 1/2 year relationship when I was 19, and I really let it get to me, especially after she jumped right into someone else's bed. It took me a few months to follow the advice that I'm giving you, but I've had all the best times in my life after the relationship ended. I focused on what was important to me - working on cars, traveling, partying, school, work, and also making new friends and moving to where I am now, both physically and emotionally. I love where I live, I love my job, my friends are great, and I found the right person for me, although it took a couple of years.

P.S. Skip the chocolate and candy, make sure to turn off the TV get out the house ( possibly the city, state or country ) and do whatever it takes to make yourself a better person, because now is your opportunity.

Sorry for your pain, keep busy at the things you love to do , working on your car and going to the gym will do wonders for you. Great stress relief. I dreaded being single after 20 years, it was hard at first, and now Im lovin it, no one to tell me what to do or when to do it, I come and go as I please and hang out with whoever. Its not a perfect life by any means , but it has given me the chance to find out the actual meaning of life...........Good Luck to ya ...............Kim.............
