Has anyone found or had some leaf springs made for an A-body that look like the Hemi/440 B-body springs with six left and five and two halves right? We need all the help we can get with traction, and I like Chryslers method of spring wrap control. I see a Dart by my house with traction bars on it and I get so disgusted. Also, why do so many people recommend the XHD Mopar springs no matter what weight the car is or what size torsion bars and sway bars they have? I don't believe that makes a balanced vehicle. Perhaps it's due to the lack of over the counter options. Having springs custom made isn't all that expensive, but what spring rate does one specify? The only place I have found with information on how to pick spring rates is here: http://users.erols.com/mathewg/mgcudah The problem I see is that they know how to make a spring to your specifications as far as spring rate and ride height goes, but tell them you want two half leaves on one side, then who knows what you'll get.

Where can you get custom leafs made? I really want Bill's rearend set-up, but I don't think it's going to happen right now. I either want a custom leafs or have my S.S.'s de-arched so they sit even.

Have you guys tried ESPO springs-n-things? www.ESPO.comI have bought things from them and have not had a problem. They make / re-arch the springs to your requirements and will match their 'off-the-shelf' springs to make sure they will sit level under your car. I plan on ordering my springs from them once I am ready.
