A couple weeks ago,i asked about the 78 roadrunners.Well today i got the chance to go have a look.I took some pics, wasn't empressed. The have the east coast cancer as usual.2 RR's and 1 volare. When we got down looking at the cars which the drive trains are there.2 318's and a 360,the guy says i got these over here too.A 72 340 complete from oil pan to intake, carb was there ,just not on engine. Now beside it is a 69 hp bb again complete including all the accessories and brackets on the front.I know the cars aren't a bodys and are rough but a hundred each and i believe i can get the engines for the same amount.

we had a 78 volare premier, we found a 6 cylinder RR in the junkyard and pulled alot of parts off of it and put htem on ours, kind of thrw people for a loop as our car had the half vinyl top and smaller looking side windows, we put the road runner hood with scoop fender, grill and of coarse the wing. we either had super coupe or police wheels on it too i forget. we found it kind of wierd that the ones in the yard had either really nice fenders or the fenders were rusted to hell, a couple guys told me that in the early 80s or something liek that they actually did a recall on the for the fenders so the good ones were probably the replacements. i like those cars, i would buy another one. they are hard to find a good grill for.
