how do you get hood hinges off a 73 Duster

I bought a full pin on fiberglass hood for my 73 Duster, how do you remove the hood hinges off the car completely, need to have them removed so I can put the new pin on hood on

it's not easy if you plan to leave the fenders in place, although with the right tool and limber wrist you may reach between the door and fender area and snap the push not off the pin then sometimes you can shake the hinge loose from the pin and pull it out through the top.

If you pull the splash shields (most likely covered in undercoat) you'll have more room to work. I have one hinge that will not slide straight off the pins - it will only come off at an angle with the fender removed. Magic curse words are of no use in this situation.
