I've done about a million renderings of different fades, angles, lengths, etc. and decided that I like this the best. Now I just need to decide on the trunk stripe. I didn't think it would fit but surprisingly it seems to finish off the back of the car pretty well. I'm not usually a fan of graphics but I think keeping the colors simple prevents it from looking like an 80's flashback ![\/][](http://www.bigblockdart.com/Smileys/classic/finger020.gif) If you guys wouldn't mind, give me some feedback on this look - good or bad. Carter

Pretty cool. I like the one with the tail stripe on it like the factory. Maybe consider continuing the door stripes to the rear of the front tire? Very original paint scheme!

Thanks - so are you voting for the third pic? Just the trunk stripe and the black cowl? Thanks for the feedback!

third one, but what would be really cool is put a stripe on the rear like the factory but ghost it

Wow - the third one huh? We talked about ghosting the stripe, but decided to put orange pearl in it instead, to make it blend a little bit. I wonder what it would look like if we did the second one but ghosted the stripe? I'm not sure if I'm in love with the wild stripes or all the time I spent on photoshop to get it that way

Ghost the design in a light gold...I saw a Red truck done with a very faint gold design painted on, it took best of show at Norwalk...The gold on Red isn't visible till your right on top of it, but it gives a rich look cause most reds have a lot of gold in them...JMO...

Okie dokie - here's the blacked out cowl, and I did a fade while I was at it. In the last pic I made the side stripes narrower and longer and raised the whole thing up a bit. I vote for Purple.
I think you spent too much time on Bourbon Street

also imo you should make the whole hood black not just the cowl, makes it kinda look like an afterthought

That would pretty much be a stock paint job. I have a cowl hood and a chevrolet alternator, so the 'purist' thing is pretty much out the window. Thanks though!

This is great feedback guys - thanks! Believe me, the final decision will be what like. I'm just trying to get more ideas, like the guy that asked about the black cowl - that's good stuff!

Hi Carter, I LOVE flames and I LOVE "ghosted" art work! On my 1999 Ram, I had ALL of my custom art work ghosted over the factory Solar Yellow paint with House Of Colors Candy Tangerine Pearl and then it was clear coated, so you feel NO difference between the original paint and the new paint. It is so cool, as from 10 feet away, it looks like a factory Solar Yellow paint job, then you get a little closer and all of the art work jumps out at you! It's REALLY funny at car shows, to see people start to walk by the truck and then stop dead in their tracks, then back up and start smiling when they start seeing all of the art work! If you would like me to e-mail you some larger pictures so you can see the art work better, just let me know and I'll be happy to do so. Don't worry though, your car is AWESOME and will look GREAT no matter which way you go with your graphics! Richard
