Rocky Mountain Dashes is having a sale!
« on: June 28, 2007, 05:17:40 PM »

Rocky Mountain Dashes is having a Sale!  We've cut prices by 20% on all "in stock" dashes, this includes items already on sale.  So if you've wanted one of our dashes and thought you couldn't afford it, now is the time!  This is an inventory reduction sale, so the sale ends when the "in Stock" dashes are gone...

Mike
I looked over your website and didn't see any A-12 dashes in stock or in the sale items.
Do you have any A-12 dashes available at the sale prices?
Lemme know!
Thanks!

We cut down the A-1 to make an A-12, we can cut it down if you buy the A-1, but there's only one A-1 in stock right now so let us know.

Cary...there are no A-10's in stock, so none in this sale.

What dashes you have in stock that have (2x) 3 3/8 and (4x) 2 5/8 holes in them?

We usually pair the 3 3/8 gauges with the 2/16", we do have some A-9's with one centered 3-3/8" and 6-2 5/8", other than that check out the website and look under "in Stock" and "Sale Items" to see what's included in the sale.

MikeR,
How do the gauges line up on the steering column on the E7, I'm assuming they are offset (the speedo/tach)?
Nice sale!

Thanks

A Couple of places.  The Painless 5/16" LED lights and they come in a variety of colors:

#80203 - Amber
#80204 - Red
#80205 - Green
#80206 - Blue

I picked up mine at Checker Auto/Parts America locally for around $8.00/ea

Also, Radio shack carries a Black Bezel 5/16" LED that works as well.

If you're running windows and internet explorer, the default setting for cookies is set to low (not to accept them), you'll need to change this to high so the shopping cart can transfer what you've ordered to the actual shopping cart page.  That info is being lost since the cart relies on cookies.

Or you could just give us a call, I have an E-7 here ready to go.

We call it a full delete and it's not hard at all to install.  If you're eliminating the glove box with our full panel them you'll want to remove the door, other than that the A-1 will fit without much work at all.  The '73 already has an opening that the A-1 will fit right into.  So you just put the dash in place, use the dash as a template for the provided screws and it's in.  You'll then want to prime and pain the dash, then get your gauges in there an wired prior to final assembly.

That's it!

Yeah, the clock will always work too!
I'm leaning towards the Stewart Warner Maximum Performance in silver, but the gauges are going to be a little while. I'm not too that point yet, so that could change.

Thanks, Wes

One caution, the Stewart Warner's seem to vary in size, depending on the gauge.  We've had customers tell us they've had to open one hole for a particular gauge but the rest were fine.  I don't remember what the one gauge was.

WOW!!!    !nanr
I ordered my gauge panel on Friday meaning yesterday and it arrived today! One day standard freight. I do live within two hours of RMD given, but WOW!!! and best of all the gauge panel is awesome. It will be a while before I install it. I just took advantage of the sale since I was going to buy one towards the end of my build anyway. By the looks of the fit and finish, I'd say about a half an hour detailing it with a die grinder and sandpaper where the bezels meet and then I could test fit, shoot primer, glaze and paint. Nothing that anyone doing a project like this can't do or won't be pleased with. First impression----Grade A.

MikeR, Thanks for the warning about the SW gauges. I really like some of the Classic Instruments American series gauges also (my first choice) but they don't have much for additional gauges in that series to go with. Meaning air/fuel, vacuum/boost, etc.

fyi, i thought the same thing about where the bezels meet on mine, but mike said he build them like that so you cant see the seam- i left it and after i painted, it looks real nice
