I'm rebuilding the 8 3/4 from my 69 Doge Dart GTS. The car is an original 383, 4-speed car and has 10" drums on the rear. I've been looking around and cannot find a listing for these drums and no one seems to have a listing. Does anyone know if these are the correct drums (10" vs. 9") and, if the 10" drums are correct, have a lead on where I might be able to purchase new ones. I've looked at Layson's and YearOne and don't see a listing. Any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Vince

West,
Thank you for the response. I'm thinking a 71 would be a 4.5" bolt pattern and I'm looking to keep the car as original as I can so, I'd like to stick to the 4" bolt pattern. I'm thinking drums for 69 Coronet might also fit.

A-bodies since 1978, this one since 1983

There is no b-body that can provide the correct drums for your car. They are small bolt pattern 10x1-3/4". They can be difficult to find, though. The last set I bought was around 2001 from a local parts house that carries a few oddball things as well as the entire CarQuest line. The good news is that the same drum was used on ALL V-8 a-bodies from 64-72.

i assumed because you had 10" drums that you had the large pattern too.

If you swap over to the 4.5" on five bolt swap everything over to the 89 dakota. It all works so so nice and easy to get parts.

Watch ebay - you'll find a drum on there.

Thank to all who responded with information! I was able to locate a set of drums for my GTS. They are Wagner part # BD60123. Kudos to Brandywine Auto Parts in Concordville, PA!
