IT is? I thought I saw on the tech page it is real clost to the same.I am going to cut a wide truck dana down to fit my E body with offset shackles. Until I am ready to put it in the E body I am planning on putting it in my valaint temporaly. I was going to cut it 1 1/2 shorter the the 8 3/4 E body width. ###s \/][ Am I mixed upon the #?

A-Body 8 3/4                  51.40" housing flange to housing flange   |    43.00" leaf spring centerline to leafspring centerline
66-70 B-Body  Dana60     54.936 housing flange to housing flange   |    44.00" leaf spring centerline to leafspring centerline

It is the early B body rear.  I had one in my car for a few years.  Tire size is limited because it is wider drum to drum but can fit the leafs.  You need to drill out the mounting pertch to 1".

You then don't realy need the dana if your stuck with the skinny minni tires.

No no. I am not good at explaining I guess. Dodge w250 dana 60, want to cut down to fit a 70 E body with 3/4" offset shackles
( stock 1970 dana  B width ??). When it is made ,temp. putting it in 69 A body to start putting the car together. Will it fit ? What offsetwheels. Will mini tub wile it is a daily driver. Then  spring relocate and narrow arear just for the A body.

A-Body 8 3/4                  51.40" housing flange to housing flange   |    43.00" leaf spring centerline to leafspring centerline
66-70 B-Body  Dana60     54.936 housing flange to housing flange   |    44.00" leaf spring centerline to leafspring centerline

The measurement for the 8-3/4 A body is not 51.4 inches flange to flange! It is 52-5/8. The chart in the tech section is wrong, and should be corrected.

The 68 hemi darts used a B-body dana 60, and it is wider than a A-body 8-3/4.
