Have 12 gallon fuel cell in my Duster, how can I check the sender on tank to see what ohm range it is so I make match it to a Auto Meter fuel level gauges since there is so many different ohm ranges
The most accurate way in my mind would be to pull the sender and put an ohm meter on it measuring with the float all the way down and all the way up. If it's a cell it should be very easy to remove.
right, pull it out and put one lead of an ohm meter (dvom, set to ohms) and one on a ground and move the float through its full range, also good to cheak for dead spot while your at it
chrysler and 80s and before ford used the 30/70 and gm( or the ones that come in most fuel cells are 0/90)
