what ball joint did you use for converting to big bolt pattern wheels.i used 73 -76 lower ball joints and the steering did not turn as far so i ground off some of the stops.Brads

i used the 76 dart upper control arms,,,they have the big ball joints,,and i used the orignal 66 lower control arms,,and i used the lower ball joints that go to the 76 disc spindle,,,,,turns fine,,,

 My steering box stops before it reaches the stops on the suspension.

both directions   if not both directions,, you may not have the pit man arm centered on the spline,, there is a notch on the spline and one the steering box,,..if problem is in both directions,,, i gues it would depend how much it stops turning short of the stops,,,,
