leaf spring rubbing gas tank

i`ve already clearenced it with a hammer but it still rubs. can i loosen the straps and slide it over just a little? is there any other way?

This is after relocating the leafs in under the frame right?  It was so close for my likings that I took the tank out and went to a fuel cell.  There is nere no way you can get the 3" exhaust pipes to make it out the back with out hanging way down.

yes, the springs are moved in. i dont have a full exhaust so i dodged that bullet.

do you have new bushings in the front and rear of the springs?

i had the same problem after moving the leafs in - I wasy able to slide the tank over a little and hammered the tank a little.
