Hemi Jay...
In the rear window my son wrote "Chevy Killer"

As far as the rear suspension it was not as hard to do as I thought. As long as you get the crossmember is square with the world you will be fine. From what I have been told and understand the ladder bars are better for weight transfer and street driven..
Most of the parts that we used were from Chris Alston Chassisworks.. The rest was from other chassis companies like Art Morrison. When we started the project...we decided that it would over built. What I mean by that is when you look at the instructions on back halfing a car..the Alston instructions go in and cut everything from rocker panel to rocker panel, frrom behind the seat to rear bumper. What we did was cut out enough to get the crossmemeber and new rails welded in place before we started cutting out the stock frame.
If you seen detail pictures of our build it may look nasty right now but NOTHING moved. The body lines stayed, doors shut just like they did..The body was not free to move around.
But anyway to answer your question...I would suggest ladder bars

B1Valiant...
That scoop that you have on your car is what he wants on his dart...I seen one on a 67 SS Chevelle that had a new K&N filter that mounts right inside the scoop..Here is a picture of it. The owner of the car said that the car didnt slow down with doing the breather like this...

The Barracuda uses a Uni filter on the carb. I am planning on sealing the carb to the scoop at some point. I like the plug style filters but do not like the necessary attaching hardware..

Oh it's mine..Guess I should have made a formal announcement about it?!?
