has anyone ever seen leafsprings moved to inside of frame rails and does it work ok

Yea, you can go to, " tech infor" ,also use search and type in" leaf springs" and hold on too your cap!

I guess you could but I don't see the point. You will only have tire clearence to the frame rail regardles how far you move the springs in.

he saying he wants to move the springs inside of the frame rails, not inline, so he doesnt have to cut the frame-

The farther in you move the springs, the stiffer they need to be to equal the roll resistance they had at their wider location.
