This is more my style. Keep the body mostly stock, drop it with an aggressive stance, cram some FAT tires under the back, rear wheels 1" bigger then the front, and, of course, a big 'ol 426 or 446 crammed into the front Take off the trim and handles and smooth it all over, the only chrome should be the bumpers, the whole grill, and the head/taillight bevels. (And the blower if one were so inclined ) The rims would be black or gun metal gray. Oh man, I gotta photoshop the car I have in mind now. Stay Tuned

I have some parts to do the Pro street thing, narrowed rear, tubs, subframe, coilovers, brand new 33 X 21.5 X 15 MT's and Welds, a 440 and trans, MSD setup, set of buckets, fuel cell, billet dist. gear drive. The question is "do I want to pull the trigger" I know it would be a killer street rod, but i alraedy have a Demon and Chad's 73 BB 4 speed turbo Dart, and a Rumble Bee, and i ain't exactly got a money forest out back, so a nice easy stock car would be a nice change of pace, if the the Chevy and Ford guys piss me off, i can always go to the house and "reload" , see my point? How about we make it a project, ya'll send the blown 392/426, the chrome straight axle, and all the cash to reframe it, I'll drive it and tell ya'll how much fun it is! works for me! HMMMMMMMMMMM............. I could get rid of the two 's and concentrate on the coupe.................who makes straight axles, Bell? ...............who planted that thought in my head

354 is more compact and has all the appeal of the 392, it would fit in between the frame better................... running the hood sides probably wouldn't work, course ya wanna show of that old Hemi anyway................course ya wanna stick with an automatic trans.................it's already got a tube bean axle up front so slipping the Bell wouldn't be that hard.....................the rear clip will work cause i already measured it........................well it was sitting right there with the tires and rims........................don't want it to high in the front.......................got some skinnys on Rodlites that would look nice on that straight axle............................

Hey Yellow,
If that's an indication of how fast you work, could you finish my '35 for me? I hope I didn't scare you with all the pics I sent you.

GEEEZ... found a 55 331 Hemi today, didn't even have to cut a ridge to get the pistons out, looks like it'll slide in the 35 okay, damm, how many non running projects can one guy have on his back!!! By the way, got the new Centerforce Dual Friction in the Turbo Dart, redid the fuel lines and went over the front end, installed 5 point harness's on the two seats, ran the exhaust ourt the side, it's more driveable, but it's like a time bomb waiting to go off, got to get those 4:56's outta there. The Demon is still tits up, needs some minor stuff to get it going.
