Dummest Guy on earth
« on: July 16, 2007, 08:18:59 PM »

My Friends, I give you "THE DUMBEST GUY ON EARTH!"

This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by a
Transportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for
84 Lumber. When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy acamera to take pictures.
The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust.

The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found
crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine
around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed.

The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they
made the customer sign a waiver.

While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the
back seat, which contains (are you ready for this?) 10 bags of concrete @
80 lbs. each.

They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the
wheels bent and the rear shocks were driven through the floorboard.
And these people VOTE!

I was telling my Daughter about this just the other day. We were at Home Depot and I was watching a guy load about 1000 LBS of sheeting, 2X4's, and 1X12 pine board on the top of a new Jeep with just a luggage rack on it. I could see the top of the roof already starting to flat-in out while he was tying it down. You can pretty much sit at one all day watching the dump-asses load their cars and SUV's.

I used to work at a place that rented heavy equipment, including tractors. One guy came in with one of those huge chevy passenger vans that you see a lot of construction companies using, they usually take all the back seats out, etc.

Anyways, he used this van to tow out one of the largest tractors we had. Even sitting at idle the van had trouble running, and when the tractor set on it the ball nearly touched the ground. Needless to say, we had to shorten up the chain so it didn't drag.

Like before, we made him sign a waiver.

Next day he brings the tractor back. The trailer needed new taillights, chains, and jack, and the tractor had a stick probably 2 inches in diameter running from under the tractor up THROUGH the radiator and out the front of it with a couple of broken hydraulic lines along the way. Nothing happened in terms of not being able to tow the tractor, but what he was towing with should've been writing on the wall for us. Needless to say, he got to pay for ALL of it.

I Don't Have Any Pics But The Local Lumber Store Had A Similar Pic Of A VW Rabbit That Had The Same Amount Of Plywood On The Roof But Also Had 30 Bags Of Cement In It. He Only Got A Half Mile Down The Road When She Broke Loss. The Body Was Sitting On The Gound. All Springs And Shocks Were Broke And 4 Flat Tires, They Have The Pic Poasted On The Order Desk. He Also Got Charged By The Ministry Of Transportation.

...and yet there's no glass on the ground from all the rear windows being shattered under the weight of the wood. Also seems like the wood would be sliding a little to the rear. Perhaps that twine is stronger than we think.
