No blinkers, tailights or front running lights
« on: July 16, 2007, 10:49:26 PM »

I'm working on my brothers '70 Dart. The headlights and brake lights work fine. There are no front running lights or taillights though. The front blinkers work but the rears don't work . And I can hear the flasher. I have changed all the bulbs. I'm getting ready to dig into it but wanted to see if anyone could offer some experience. I'm thinking maybe the headlight switch is faulty. HELP?  Frustrated

Just realized that the fuse for the tailights is blown, put another fuse in and it blows. Now I get to chase a short, Gotta love it.  Madd

I have found most dead shorts in lighting to be in the area of the lights you can usually unplug each component or section of wiring put a new fuse in each time you unplug something and test , when you dont blow a fuse you can isolate the problem
