I AM NEW TO THE SITE AND FIRST WANT TO SAY HI TO EVERYONE. I AM PUTTING A 383 IN MY 72 DUSTER THAT WAS AN ORIGINAL /6 CAR WITH ALL /6 STEERING AND K FRAME INSTALLED. I AM BUYING THE SHUMAKER MOTOR MOUNT ADAPTERS AND HEADERS. MY QUESTION IS CAN I USE THE /6 PITMAN ARM, IDLER ARM, AND STEERING LINKAGE WITH MY 383? AND WHAT OIL PAN DO I NEED. I JUST DO NOT WANT THE STEERING TO HIT THE OIL PAN.

You best bet is a C body pan stamped 187 or 699 some are not stamped but are the same. The steering linkage may or may not hit and if it does a V8 link might give you some more room.

Out of all the A body's I've taken apart I have yet to see any difference in the /6 to V8 drag-link. There are 2 different ones for the 67 to 76 A body's. One for the 67-72 which the idler and pitman arm mount form the bottom and one for the 73-76 that they mount from the top.

Yep all will except the 67 odd ball idler arm. You have to keep the center link, idler arm, and the pitman arm together as a set-up.
