67 dart front marker lamps
« on: August 01, 2007, 03:28:19 PM »

anyone help with this...

is it normal for a 67 dart when parking lights work normal when headlight switch is in
parking light position. but when headlights are turned on the parking light goes off
but turn signals still work as usual? wondering if this is normal... wiring harness is not
butchered in car and i'm pretty sure all grounds are grounded. oh, one last thing, the
instrument cluster lights aren't working either, but i haven't spent much time looking
into that yet.

thanks

On a stock 67, the turn/parking lights will be OFF when the headlights are on. The only work as a turn signal OR parking lights.

That must have been a 67 thing, because my roomate's old 67 Coronet worked the same way...
