I was looking for some information on swaping a 6 cyl for a V8 on a 65, so far what I got is: you need to change the center link for a droped link, no worries there, I had a 66 a long time ago and I remember it had the center console with a regular 904. this 65 has the cable shifter, how do you go about switching over to the other set-up? I had no luck doing a search, maybe I just don't know how. Any help is much appreciated.

I think the company that deals with cable-shift conversions is Imperial Services (or something like that).
