  I am with you on this one...My son's 68 Dart started out to be a 383 4 speed with a mini tub and 8.75 rearend. Nothing special but a nice daily driver.  No we have did 180* turn..Still the 68 Dart with a 383 4 speed but it has grown to a backhalf'd,Dana 60,fuel cell,14 point roll cage,racing buckets..etc  And the car is not even on the street yet.... motorinstall motorinstall motorinstall duster duster duster

And the project goes on

i was thinking that this is why we should just go to muffler,brake or tire shops when needed.

stay clear of them one stop service shops,end up with a $3000 oil change and a free pine air freshner.

time well spent anyways.

I was going to change mine over from 6 to 440, wanting to paint the engine compartment and fix the body to make a nice driver, when I got done it was a 340 4 speed, console with custom interior, pearl white paint, cloth top, disc brakes and 3X the money that I thought I would spend

Looks good, keep up the work and make it what you want.
