Cheap brake upgrade?
« on: August 14, 2007, 11:09:28 AM »

I have been thinking about getting a custom hub made up for my 87 Dakota so I could use a set of 13" Cobra rotors as the dakota has the hub and rotor in one:( . Then someone told me to try this

"Take your stock rotors (new ones would be nice) and have the rotor machined off. Have the wheel mount surface machined down the thickness of your new rotor hat and you are good to go.
Much simpler than machining a hub from scratch and a lot cheaper"

What do you guys think?
