Easy disk brake hose question?
« on: August 14, 2007, 04:13:45 PM »

Hey all I am finally getting to the point where I can start thinking about driving my demon so... I have 1983 Gran Fury brakes, calipers and rotors on the front if my car, which brake hoses do i get?  Mopar Actions Disk-o-tech says for 72-73 (disk) e body but shouldn't 73-76(disk) dart work too?  Thanks?

I have 84 fury brakes on my 65, I used 73-76 dart hoses and my calipers are mounted to the rear, don't know if it's different when thier mounted to the front.

I had my calipers rear mounted also...then switched to front mounted (easier to bleed brakes that way) and the hose length was differernt.
If you have a good brake /clutch shop in your area its a snap for them to make you up a pair of braided hoses to fit whatever length you need.  More expensive??? maybe a llittle but they are right length and they are neat looking..cost me about $ 15 more than rubber hoses to fit from the local auto parts.
