Upper door moldings
« on: August 15, 2007, 10:37:14 PM »

I have the upper door moldings pulled off my 69, they screw into the body above the windows. I was wondering if anybody knew what a guy could use to replace the foam seal, (that would be just like the factory foam) it goes between the molding and the body?

It was a while ago, but if I remember correctly I used a roll of "truck cap sealer". It is a roll of 1"wide foam that sticks on one side only and has wax paper on the other that you peel off. It is about 1/8" thick and compresses very easily but returns when pressure is removed.

Hope this helps
