Trouble maker and a thief
« on: August 19, 2007, 11:47:20 AM »

Ok guys with all the discussion on cars getting stolen, things coming up missing.I thought you might get a kick out of this. This guy has cost me at least 3 or 4 hundred dollars the past couple years.I have moved things ,secured them better etc.I finally caught him on camera, right in the act. This feeder meant for deer is right at 6 ft.We now have it a 7 ft.as you can see by how far he is reaching up he can reach well over 6 ft.We started out hanging the feeders on tripods until he came along and just knocked them over.Next we hung them from the trees, and have to raise them each year. Now before someone says i'm just baiting them in,to shoot them. The club has a very strict rule about hunting within a 100 yards of a feeder or food plot.Get caught and your gone, period. The food plots and feeders are there to help them make it through the bad wheather. So anyway here he is doing what he does best tearing up another feeder.

Nice Rug one day!  I only have deer and racoons coming up behind the house to my feeder. Heres a little fawn, one of a set of twins. The wife has declared them pets and off limits to me and my bow.

What is with you guys? You can never have too much venison... if you aren't allowed to use your bow, bust out the rifle, or throw a damned rock at it for Christ's sake.

I always have plenty of venison. I fill my freezers and kill a couple for a few friends that are physically unable to hunt on my hunting land and state land without shooting in the back yard. Although if a monster buck decides to follow one of the does home, well theres always room on the wall and in the freezer for him.

Great pics of the bruin wilddriver. They can be a real pest at times.

Bakaruda i believe thats excatley what he is saying  lol so far he is the only one of the 4 on the property that gives us any trouble. He gets more than his fair share of the grub. Here in this county the population is still so low we can only hunt them with a bow.The venison in the freezer, got plenty still from last year.I have killed enough deer, that i only shoot mature bucks now.I have a 17 year old son that i let do all the shooting anymoreIf i do decide to try and get a shot at him i have to find someone to take most of the meat.Bear meat is stringy and has a stong taste, that and i don,t hunt just to kill something. If i don,t eat it i,m not gonna shoot it..
