I was wondering if anyone out there could post a photo of a bottom rear corner of the rear window preferably without the glass in as I have had to rebuild my bottom 2 corners and I want to check I have the shape correct.
Any tips on shaping etc etc etc would also be appreciated.

I had to replace one of mine.
Started with a piece of metal roughly the same size.
Using a shot bag (a leather pouch filled with sand) to absorb the hammer blows start pounding on the metal gently until you get the shape that you need. Take your time to get it right, maybe about 30 to 60 minutes.
Once you get the shape you can trim to fit and weld it in.

sorry i forgot  ,it only takes 3 minutes to take the pic and post it so its not a problem.remembering to do it is a different story. If you dont see the pic by 6:pm pacific tonite p.m. my stupid ass and remind me. |
