No it won't, the disc rotor is the same thickness at the axle connection.

Dodgenut. I replaced my factory drum brake set-up on my Roadrunner with Wilwood rotors and calipers. The set cost $425.00. The rotor is thicker than the drum and moved my wheels out approx. 3/8 of an inch. or so. Hope this helps.

I purchased both front and rear from Hot Rod Heaven. They sent me a free porportioning( ???spelling?) valve, and three quarts of wilwood fluid DOT 5. Check for a discount code on the web site before placing an order. I received front and rear drilled rotors, front lines (steel braided), valve, fluid, shipped free for under a grand and that was after the additional cost of drilled rotors. Keep in mind that these (drilled, non-vented) rotors are recommended for light vehicles. The rotors and set-ups are common on Stock Eliminator cars and some Super Stock or slower bracket cars; I don't think they would be a good idea for street applications, high speeds (125mph plus) and heavier cars.

Just checked and they are $539.95. I ordered them about 8 months ago. This set does not have the parking brake set-up. They still offer a coupon for shipping (-$20.00) or free shipping plus the previously mentioned parts for front and rear orders. Check the coupon folder first.

Aerospace Components offers a rear disc kit for $456.00. Someone also sells a caliper adapter on e-bay to put G.M calipers on your mopar. You can also purchase a caliper bracket that clamps onto the housing tube for a G.M. caliper ( I think) from AFCO and other roundy-round parts suppliers. Check the circle track suppliers, they have all kinds of goodies for control arms,  caliper brackets, shocks, adapter this and adapter that type stuff.

Drdiff also sells a kit that allows you to put ford mustang calipers on your car, the kit cost me around 500, and was complete, here is a link to my info on moparts.com

Ummm... YES it changes the required backspacing.  The hat is 1/2" thick, so that's going to space your wheels out 1/2" on each side.  The drum flange is only like 1/8" thick.

My Wilwood rear brakes are only 1/4" thick...not too far off from a drum thickness at that point.  Maybe an 1/8" thicker?

Well, I have the Wilwood Prostreet 12.19" rear discs.  It is exactly a 1/4" where it sets on the axle face.  It spaces the wheel out exactly a 1/4" from the axle face.  The directions even have it measured at 1/4".  It's a 1/4"    Cheesy

sounds like were are comparing apples to oranges ...... depending on what kit you get....will determine the rotor hat thickness. that will determine how far past your fenders the rear tires be hammer LOL

Wow - that's a big difference.  That makes it a bitch to plan for eh?  Wonder why the drag kit (11 1/2" rotors) has a thicker hat than the bigger 12.19" rotor?  Anbody? Bueler? Bueler?
