1966 factory mauve poly
« on: August 23, 2007, 06:18:13 PM »

i am thinking seriously about using the factory 66 mauve poly for paint.
this is a very, very light purple almost a violet for those of you not familiar with it. Grin
black and red and blue and silver are out - looking for something different.
i figure there arent many mauve cars out there. Cheers

i want to spice it up a bit,  make it pop a little more.
any ideas?
a little pearl of some sort added?
maybe just add a bunch of mettalic?
maybe metalflake it?
maybe dust it lightly with a gold or silver flake or pearl just enough so the original color shows through?
what do you think 4 speed

attachment is a mauve poly charger slightly blurry madwife

I have used a product called mico sequins. It's a small flake, comes in a jar. You don't see it untill you get in the bright sun lite, then it realy pops. It don't take much.
