Energy Absorbing Units "EAU" What do you do with them?
« on: August 23, 2007, 11:16:55 PM »

I pulled the gas tank on my '74 Duster and while I was at it I decided to fix some problems with the trunk. I pulled the back bumper off and the "EAU" off of the bumper. I am tempted to sand blast them, paint them and re-use them but... I don't know if there is a better way, I was wondering if anyone has replaced them with something else? Do you re-use them like I had intended?

Help me out!

Thanks!

I reused mine but cleaned them with a blast of water then used that goof off stuff and elbow grease to clean them up.
