Does anyone know of a fuel tank "sock filter" that'll fit a 3/8" pickup tube that is available over the counter at NAPA,PepBoys,Autozone, Advance.,etc..?

Not to my knowledge. You could do what we did on my sons Dart. It still has the stock 5/16 fuel sending and we left the sock off. But we installed an inline filter right after the fuel line comes out of the tank. Then it goes to the electric fuel pump in the back. Been like that since 1997. Ron

I tried a few summers back, no luck. Got mine from Year One for around $5.00 if I remember right.

Heres the part# for a Ford one. D1AZ.9A011.A. Ford list is $18.91.  I picked one up from Ford myself a few months ago, they work great. Nobody has to know you have a Ford part in your Mopar!

I used to use the Ford rubber boot that goes around the distributer to keep out water. Just buffed out the Ford logo. worked great. Pt# E6TZ.12252.A LIST=15.82
