Any of you members know a guy named Larry Michaels from Waynesboro PA.? I paid for a pair of wheels and I did not recieve them. Now he won't return my E-mails.  His Ebay name is aventinecollegium1 so beware. I hate the idea of having to pay him a visit but I don't see as he is leaving me much choice. |

how did you pay  i bought from a guy e bay name mopar larry,,wasnt what it was said to be,,i had to call my credit card company,,good thing i went that route he wanted pay pal or walmart money gram only,,, the walmart money gram is very costly,,,so they told me at the store,,,so i chose to go the pay pal route,,,,i explained to my credit card company what happened,,i sent the part back,,and my credit card company returned my money,,,i couldnt believe it,,yes you want your part,,,,but ide rather find it from stand up seller,,good luck,,it stinks that these things hapen,, |

See, that's the problem. The idiots that do rip people off usually don't get much flack because they think they are too far away to bother. I think that if more people that got ripped off would confront the person more often then maybe they would think twice about trying to rip you off. You wouldn't do it at a swapmeet.

Nah - Chris isn't so bad once you get to know him, but I would NOT want to piss him off! Which Waynesboro? There is one at the PA line and one in east of York. Both are within striking distance (pun intended) of the B-B-D crew. Does Ringold Street sound right? That's the one near Chris. |

As much as I'd like to pay the guy a visit I wouldn't bother in this day and age I'd be afraid that the ass hole would shoot you or something.Then say you have been harrassing him and probably get off.Even if you paid through Paypal you can also cancel the payment .Call the credit card company and say you haven't recieved the goods .They will call him if he can't prove you got them they will put the money back on your card.I bought a bike engine awhile back .The guy said it was running when he got it.I got it home took it apart and the wrist pins had no clips on them and the pistons had no rings .Guy wouldn't give me my money back said that one of the shafts inside was worth what I paid for it and he couldn't take the groceries that he bought back.....All I could do to keep from tying a rope to it and giving it the old hammer toss through his front window.20 years ago that's what would have happened.

drive by his house with a pellet pistol. his car window cost more than the wheels and you would feel better. This was my friends solution when he could not get paid for tint jobs back in the day. P.S. It does not make any noise and is better when it is snowing and -20 degrees. Makes for a cold work ride

I did something very similar years ago and I requested what is called a "civil standby". The police will come out and stand there to prevent things from getting out of control. If you have to go out there, this is the proper way to do it (again, if that service is available to you). Also, if you have to go to small claims court, having a record of a civil standby is favorable. |

I paid by USPO money order  He lives on 151 Snyder Ave. Waynesboro PA. 17218. The zip could be wrong I will check later. This guy is sadly mistaken if he thinks he is going to beat me and that is the end of it. I live in S.E. PA. and will gladly travell the distance necessary to confront him. |

If we made a new "vigilante-ism" law, this type of thing wouldnt happen very often. People would be less likely to try and rip someone off knowing the victim can legally come to your house and get revenge.
I like this idea........
