Topic: Need help with hood (Read 175 times)

I need to cut the hood for the air cleaner before I paint. But, I need to know were the center of the carb will be before that. I will be using Schumacher mounts with a 440. Has any one done this. I cannot put the motor in because it is at the machine shop.

you should wait and make sure its right
i  then put a bit longer air cleaner stud in the carb and shut the hood, a mark will show up for sure in exactly the correct place.  |
