Hello can anyone tell me the best dye to use for my dart's vinyl top. It's black but has been left out in the weather. Only five years old. she needs her color back.

i used duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint on my vinyl top, originally green with my white car and by time i got it, all the green had worn off and it was flesh colored, so i masked off the car, gave it a wipe down with acetone and painted it, the paint drys in 30 seconds and leaves a nice finish, that was two years ago and its just now starting to flake off in some small places, but it only cost me $5, so it will be well worth it again, so much easier spraying out of a can

I used the Duplicolor as well. I followed the directions to a "T" and used their vinyl top prep. Although, always garaged I changed from white to black 3 1/2 years ago and it still looks great. I have received many compliments and no one has been able to tell its a dye job.
