i just sold my 440/66 charger and thought i would try something different.
a 65 dart gt convertible,red with a black top,273/auto
this is my first early a body.
is there anything i sould be aware of?

I have an early A body (65') and am not familiar with post 67' models. So; the only thing I can think of is look in the trunk at the rear of each wheel opening. There is a bad moisture trap between the quarter panel and the trunk floor sides. I was totally surprised at the rot that was going on considering I checked from underneath to make sure the rust wasn't too bad. A regular swamp in there if the trunk lid seal is bad. Congrats on the new project! |
