I did mine a little different. I made sleeves for the deck lid.

SMITTY72:  THANKS!! Are those black brackets factory pieces??  The hardware I got with my go wing does not have those.  \/][  The only thing I saw as far as brackets are about 1/2 inch by maybe 4 inch long flat black strips?? But no bent brackets or anything??   Guess I need to see where I can buy a mounting kit less wing and pedestals so I can make sure I have the correct parts.

Also one last thing.....does anyone have a picture (or know) if the factory wings have a nut inside the wing to attach?  Or is it a self threading screw??  It was fairly dark in the shop this evening when I pulled it out and I could not see down in the mounting holes of wing.

Sorry for dumb questions... hammer  But you never know unless you ask, right.  I am begining to doubt the wing I have is a factory wing.  So I am trying to fiqure out what is correct and what is not.

those brackets are repos of the factory ones, when I bought the wing they were not there so I bought them from a company called first place, I believe. they make just about anything you need to mount or replace broken/missing parts.
