71 Dart vent window mouldings
« on: September 01, 2007, 12:06:40 AM »

Sorry but I have another question about 71 Darts.    hammer

Does anyone have a picture of the rubber moulding that goes between the lower wing vent window and the door??  The ones on my car do not appear to be on correct??  \/][  The passengers side has a gap (just about the thickness of a credit card) between the rubber moulding and the door.  But the passengers side has a gap large enough that I can see the vent window mounting bolt??    The body shop said the never removed the mouldings or messed with them at all.  But I think I would have noticed a gap that large before I took the car over there??  Reguardless I want to correct it but I am not sure if the moulding sets up on the door or just butts up against the inner door lip??

THANKS IN ADVANCE!! thank you

Here is a pic of the trim that I am working with.  Anyone have a pic of there car that can help me see how this is suppost to be?  There is a gap between the door and the moulding and I know that is not correct.   Plus I still need to get the overspray off the moulding. Madd
