Here are the lastest pictures of my 63 Dart bracket car project.. the Indy Maxx Alum Block came in and now i have almost everything to complete the car except....TIME... . For those asking what is the heart of the car..well, I am building a 543ci(4.380 x 4.5 stroke) Stroker motor with Indy 440-1 Alum heads fully ported flowing 389@.800..Once i put together the short block and see how much cam I can run then I'll decide on that, but hoping to be in the area of .750-.780 lift.. CR is 13.5 and using a Milodon oiling system..figure the car to weight about 2700-2850 lbs considering I am using the Magnum force K-member and their race brakes as well as the 145lb saving with the Alum block instead of the Mega Iron block...Have new rear Patch panels as well as the rear wheel openings that I will be cutting soon.. Enjoy the Pics.. thanks... billyjaydove@bellsouth.net http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8QZOXDNmxcsbo

when i first started the project I left the factory frame rails in and later decided it wouldn't handle what i was going to build..I had already bought the wheels/tires that you see in the pics(15x8 rim w/5 1/2 bs)28 x 10 x 15 tires..So was going to use a 15 x 10 w/7 1/2 bs but would still leave me about 4 1/2 inches of clearance next to the frame rail.. SO, I have borrowed a jig from my friend and going to shorten the Dana 60 about 2 1/2 " on each side then i can use a 12" rim with 14" on rubber on the ground with about 1 1/2" clearance on each side..Trying to stick 800-850hp to the ground with only a 10" tire maybe hard...So,Yes I agree..TO SMALL OF A TIRE !!!! SEE PIC...

You have a very extensive photo gallery that is just awesome to view. The work is looking great and I know you must be very excited about your build coming together. Thanks for sharing. That block looks killer. I know you have some serious cash into that ride at this point. Keep up the great work and good luck the rest of the way!!!
