[video]The Mustang Lives!
« on: September 06, 2007, 04:08:26 PM »

I posted here a while back about a '69 Mach 1, 429/C6 my wife bought. It needed some TLC and assembly and I finally got it fired:

It's no Mopar but I'm thinkin' it should be able to get out of its own way.

She bought it from some guy going through a divorce and he bought it off eBay. It's a 429 with 11.1 forged pistons, Cobra Jet heads, mechanical roller cam, 750 Demon. The guy had it apart when we bought it because it had a reverse valve body in it when he got it and he was swapping it out for a standard. He gave us the tranny and I put it in, it's supposed to have Kevlar bands and everything and the guy who built it says it should handle 1000 HP. It's got a 2800 stall.
