I've read that a 67 Dart windshield trim and gasket are different then a 68 or 69 Dart. Is this true? The reson i ask is because I have a 67 that is missing half of the front trim and I need to replace the gasket anyway. Should I bother looking for the remaining 67 type trim or can I just get a 68 seal and 68 stainless trim. This is just for the windshield - I have the complete rear trim. Thanks.
BTW - can someone explain to me what the difference is and what's involved with putting 68 or later windshield trim and gasket on a 67?

I just checked out Year One and they don't even have a 67 windshield gasket listed.

I'm in the same boat as you. I intend to buy a '68 and later trim, clips and gasket. The clips can be found on ebay. Crazy68Dart sent me these pics on where the clips go.   Search this topic and you will find more info. |
