Anyone know how much to crank up the torsion bars before I try to set it on the ground on it's wheels? To set it per the service manual it has to be sitting on the ground, but how much should I crank up the adjusters before even sitting on the ground so it doesnt bottom out immediatly? the motor is out but I want to be able to sit the front end down on it's wheels so I can move it around in the garage....

With the engine out, you should only need a few turns. Especially if you have decent size torsion bars. You'll have to crank them up after the engine's in of course.

I usually set the head of the bolt even with the bottom of the control arm. They should be set the same. Make sure you give it a good bounce to settle it when you set it on the ground.

Ryan, it doesn't matter whether the negine is out or not. It'll just sit higher without the weight. If you put the adjuster there you shouldn't have any problems when you add the drivetrain.
