Rear wheel back space question
« on: September 12, 2007, 07:10:35 PM »

My question is simple I hope. I want to run a 15x8.5 or 15x10 rear rim width on my '73 Scamp/Dart.What back space of rear wheel is needed? I have a mopar relocation kit already, total 3 inches. Without using wheel tubs of any kind, is this possible besides modifiying my rear quarter wheel lips? Tires I have is a 255/60/15 first set also have 275/60/15 tires just in case also. I need some tires on the rear for hook up, my motor isn't going to be stock and the 14x6 rims I have now aren't gonna cut it with the messilly 245/60/14's I have now. I've been doing my home work on what will work, brain fart, and now I'm just wanting some extra info. before I have my rear wheels built for the car.
Any help greatfull.
thank you         Mark

Not sure what you can fit in there with the spring relocated, but mini tubbing it would be the best solution since you have already relocated the springs.
You have the hard part done already.
