My granddaughter likes to go into pet stores, it's almost to the point I can't stand to go in with her. Those poor animals, all cramped up, stuck in a little cage and there for who knows how long if they aren't  cute or popular breed.

Someone should    Gangster  the pet store owners.        my .02

Here will be the last update on the pup's.  As of today, all the pup's have new homes.  I had written down all the new parents names with their phone numbers.  Made a deal with them if they had any trouble to bring them back and I would refund their money.  It was sad to see them go, but happy they have good parents that will care for them.

Thanks Steve...glad to hear there all in new homes.   Cheers I know how much work it is, and the mess all the time.  My dad used to raise Labrador Retrievers, they had a litter of 17 once, what a job...seemed like they were continuously pooping...He finally built a kennel in the garage with a small pen for them to live in with straw in it...that was a lot easier.....Congrats on placing them all, and thanks for the pic's... Wink

Great Job.... Grin

The reunite was kind of a slow day long process.  These two dogs were timid...almost laying on the floor when approached when we were trying to pet them.  It almost makes me believe they were beat on/abused by there owners.  The people that had them called and said they couldn't handle them anymore and wanted to know if I would refund their money.  To make a long story short, the 2 pups were at my house about an hour later.  To people who want a pup.....when the honeymoon is over and they are grown, don't abuse them, return them freely to the sellers if you dont want them anymore.  You should'nt be parents anyway if you aren't prepared for the long hall.    Nothing pisses my off than someone that abuses their pets Gangster Gangster  We are going to have to find loving parents for them. They are both fixed and have shot records.  Makes me feel sad, but happy to see them back in a safe home.  Steve

People don't realize the commitment to training a puppy.  They usually take up to 2 years to get a pup where he is trained, and out of the chewing stage, and to where they know to go outside.  I saw a lady with a dog like mine (Yorkie) at a car show last year and she had a diaper on it, yes, a doggie diaper, the dog was over a year old and she said she couldn't train it, well, putting a diaper on it isn't gonna help.... \/][...

Thanks for taking them back Steve, I'm sure you'll find good homes for them... Hug

Well, from the pictures they look like they have lost their timidness and are settling back in nicely!

I say this as my two spoiled beagles are both asleep on the couch!                 lol

That would be "Lucky"  he was the only one that survived from the first litter.  He about 10lbs heavier, bigger than his daddy, with one nut and one blue eye.

We haven't yet found new homes for them yet.  In August, I am going to pay for their 1 year shots, just so it is done.  I will protect them, even if I have to keep them.  I am so glad the people that bought them did'nt eat them.  I will send more pic's later,  Steve

I have to laugh every time I see a dog like this. It reminds me of the old wrestler " Abdullah the Butcher"
