69 Dart rear glass compatability

In my search for better rear glass for my 69 Dart, I was wondering what other years fit?

i thought all the years will interchange as long as its the same body,,  4 door rear glass will not fit a 2 door

Thanks guys....I almost bought a 69 4 door glass.
Someone else told me that it was only 67-69, is it possible it goes into the 70s?

back in the day I spent a whole day picking over glass in a large salvage yard and found a 68 4 door glass for my 68 270 ht. yep..................... does not fit and I almost amputated my finger getting it. 4 dr glass is rougly 3/4 of a inch taller than 2dr glass.

They sure changed things around back then, between tail lights, grills and glass. It will drive you crazy.
I thought about polishing...but the talk around here is that it is a waste of time. Not sure ?

  i am pretty coffident anything up to a 76 dart will fit..

How about front windshields on 67 - 69, will they interchange ?

That also begs to ask if WS's thru 76 will work as well ?

Best bet, call your local glass shop and ask them. My understanding is that you can get new front windshields for most all
cars from that era.

Thanks for everyones input. Yesterday I broke down and ordered a new tinted 69 rear window! Price was good (US=CDN dollars). A local glass company got a line on one in the US. I should have it in 2 weeks.

new glass is not brittle and is much nicer and easier to install
