I've been working on finishing my car trunk. I still have to put on the trunk hinge and clamp the wires down, etc. So it's not totally done. I used the splatter paint and it worked great. It should hold up alot better for street driving.

I used the duplicolor gray/white mix. It took me about 10 cans to get the look and thickness that I wanted. I then clearcoated it after drying for about 1 week.

Looking VERY nice. I like that spatter paint. I used it on a '68 fastback I had many moons ago. Will probably use it on my '69. Keep the pics coming... O.J.

That looks great. Is that battery hold down a home made piece or something you bought from a speed shop? Good luck with the rest!!!

The battery tray is a jegs piece but is also sold through aerospace components. It's all billet and is very nice. Goes in easy and has all the associated hardware. Price is right around $110. I won't paint the splatter as I already clearcoated it. I could but figure it looks pretty good.
