Is PinkE's moms name and today we got bad news she was watering her flowers this morning and started to sweat got rushed to the hospital and later transfered to another hospital for an emergency surgery that don't look very promising, I know a lot of you guys love PinkE, today would probably be a bad day to call her if ya got her # I really don't want to inundate her with people calling her but I'm sure she would apreciate your messages left here, and your prayers, lets hope mom makes it through, my self I consider the ol Lady a winner either way  |

I just got off the phone with Sue, Her Moms in surgery right now. Sue told Me its a ten hour surgery. I think we should all pray Guys.Her Moms a great Lady, I hope it goes well.

A New Journey Begins.....

Thanks everyone, she made it thru the surgery, but this is just the beginning, day by day and thanks for all the prayers and well wishes guys....She has an anurism on her Aorta near the heart, she knew this after the last episode with the Dr.s, today she bent down to pick up the hose to water her plants and the Aorta sheared, like a run in a stocking, from the heart, to her kidneys and maybe farther, blood was leaking around her heart so they did emergency surgery on her, they only fixed 8 inches near her heart with a plastic vein replacement, there gonna try and repair the rest with medication and therapy. They only gave her a 20 % chance of making it thru, but the Dr. said she fooled everyone...for now she's OK...But he said anything can happen, stroke, bleeding, more shearing...I guess I just have to have faith that God will keep her alive....She's 85, she has Emphesema from smoking almost all her life, she quit 20 years ago, but I guess it was too late...She has other complications too...But at least I got to spend time with her and I had a chance to tell her I love her, and we said goodbye, the last thing she said to me was Say goodbye to Randy, she loves him too....Well, I gotta go to bed...I'll keep everyone updated as time goes bye. It's great to have friends like you guys here.... |

I'm doin OK, Thanks, they took her breathing tube out today, she woke up, and started fightin it, she had to be tied down...she was trying to pull everything out...but I guess that's normal..  ....Man it's hard to see that... ...finally they took it out and she's breathing on her own...still a long ways till she's back, but at least she has the fight left in her....She opened her eyes, and I think she knew us, but we're not sure...Only can go in for 10 minutes at a time 3 times a day...I guess she needs her rest right now....I came home for a while....what a tough lady she is..... |
