Found out what the KLANG noise was!
« on: October 02, 2007, 11:03:26 PM »

I recently posted about my drum to disc swap that I finished, and when I was testing the Dart out I would here a loud KLANG...KLANG...KLANG Frustrated
As some of you know I need new leafspring and ordered them today. I crwled under my Dart this evening and was looking around to see what I had to do to remove the leaf springs and install the new ones....when I inpected the passenger side leaf I noticed 2 shiney rubbed spots on the exhaust a little gouged like something was hitting them.......WELL the old worn out springs were kissing the exhaust ever so gently but it sounded like someone was taking a hammer to some metal so I gave the exhaust a little wrap with my screw driver and hells bells it wrang out like the same sound that I heard while driving. Check out the pics not very clear but I think you'll get the idea.
By the way the back end is up on stands so thats why the pics seam like there far apart.
