reveal windshield molding clips for 72 scamp

I have a question about the windshield molding clips for a 72 scamp (the same as a 68-76 dart from what I gather).

I had my car painted by a neighbor. I purchased windshield/rear window gaskets and reveal clips, but he does not think the windshield clips are correct as they stick up slightly above the body.

Unfortunatly I do not have any pictures available to show what I am talking about, but does anyone know if the tops of clips should be flush or if they stick above at all?

they sit up a little,i have a 72 at home with the windshield removed and new clips.i'll post a pic tonite.
do you have a better pic of the clips you are using?

Thanks, I'd appreciate seeing the clips on your car and I'll try to get some pictures with a real camera and not the crappy camera in my phone.

The clips should sit level with the body.

Strange. The clips are from yearone and are for 68-76 darts, I would think that they would be the same for a 72 scamp.

the clips for dart will fit the scamp,they are the same.
 it depends on what angle you look at the clips to determine how high they sit,but for the most part they stick out a littlle.

That looks pretty much like the clips on my scamp. Thank you for providing the pictures, I feel better now.
