The seller's just fishing - no way anyone would pay that much for it.

I just saw in a magazine where a S&M b body went for 900.000 plus...I can't imagine paying that kind of bank on a Duster.

I read somewhere about these cars being narrowed the entire length of the car. Don also flipped the grills upside down for better aero. How cool are these old pro-stock cars? If I was rich I'd pay that for the car, just because I want it. Unfortunetly at this time submitting an offer would be an insult to the car. Maybe someday when these car bottom out again and fuel is no longer sold...

If it was the original car as it was in 1974, it might be worth $300K, but its been raced and modified ever since, there is probably nothing original to the 74' season except the vin number, so what would be the point? Sometimes history is great, but it is what it is, history! That car would never be the same as it was.

^^^ True, but neither are most HEMI, 440 Six Pack, R/T's AARs, Dana Super Trak Pak cars...
They are still awesome. I sure wish I had the $5K to buy the Magnesium pro-stock rear end that was on eBay a couple weeks ago...

Maybe its just me, but I can't see paying $1.5M. I would rather have a General Lee for $10M.
